| A message from our Secretary: SOCIETY SERVICES RPSS Publication List Back stock of RPSS publications were handed by long-time member and dealer John Head. After his recent passing, his widow has also been ill and unable to fulfill orders. At the WestPex show in April 2009, the Society recently approved a trip to Maine to pickup our back stock of publications and journals. I traveled to Maine in October and brought the stock back to North Carolina. Some 85 boxes are currently being inventoried. Non-Commercial: Space in “Puff’s Browse” is available without charge for use by all members. Submit request to the Editor and do not date your ad. Due to space restrictions, please limit your entry to no more than 50 words. The latter limitation excludes the member’s name, address, and ZIP or postal code. Members must include their RPSS number with their submissions for this service. “Puff’s E-Browse” is also available on our website, www. ryukyustamps.org. To place an ad, please contact our website manager at admin@ryukyustamps.org. AUCTIONS The Society holds mail auctions on an irregular basis. A general announcement of acceptance of material will appear in the weekly philatelic print or online press well in advance of the auction date. Specific information is available from the RPSS Auction Manager (and Society Treasurer), John Beck. EXPERTIZING The Society offers an expertizing service to members and non-members of the RPSS. Ryukyuan philatelic material to be examined should be sent by registered mail to**: **After our expertizing manager, George MacLellan, passed in 2003, we were unable to get a replacement for him. Thus, we do not have expertizing service at this time, but will have at a future date. In the interim, all items should be sent to the American Philatelic Society (APS) for expertizing.
