RPSS Web Site Privacy Policy

This page explains how RPSS will handle information we learn
about you from your visit to our website. The information we
receive depends upon what you do when visiting our site.

RPSS respects the privacy of the users who visit the pages on
this site. Absolutely no effort is made to identify individuals
without their knowledge. We do not attempt to obtain your email
address and will not receive your email address, or other
personal information, unless you knowingly provide it by
completing an on site form or send us an email. These forms
are discussed below.

If you visit our site:
We collect and store only the following information about you:

The name of the domain and IP address from which you access
the Internet (for example, aol.com, if you are connecting from
an America Online account. The date and time you access our
site.
Cookies? We do not use cookies.

RPSS uses the information collected regarding domain name,
IP address, and date and time of visit to measure the number of
visitors to the different sections of our site and thereby help us
make the site more useful to visitors. This information is
collected solely for statistical / site improvement purposes and is
not used to identify individuals.

You may identify yourself to RPSS by sending an on site form.
There are several such forms on this web site. You also may
decide to send us personally identifying information completely
outside the web site. An example would be an email message
requesting information about the Society. We use personally
identifying information only to respond to your requests. RPSS
does not share your personally identifying information with
anyone. We do not generate a bulk email list which includes
your information and we do not contact you unless you indicate
you desire that.

Once you join the society and with your consent, your name
and address will be published in the Society Directory which is
distributed as any other Society document. In the future, the
membership directory may contain the email and web site of
members who consent to the publication of that information.
You can assume that when the Society directory is published,
the information in it will enter the public domain as many
people will have access to that document.

In summary, RPSS we will not obtain personally identifying
information about you when you visit our site, unless you choose
to provide such information to us. If you have any questions
about these policies please contact  the site manager.

User Submissions:
By reading this policy, you agree that you will not email or
transmit any communications or content of any type that
infringe or violate any rights of any party. By submitting
communications or content to any part of this Site, you agree
that such submission is non-confidential for all purposes. If you
make any such submission, you automatically grant - or warrant
that the owner of such content has expressly granted - RPSS a
royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, world-wide nonexclusive
license to use, reproduce, create derivative works from, modify,
publish, edit, translate, distribute, perform, and display the
communication or content in any media or medium, or any
form, format, or forum now known or hereafter developed.

Article Submission:
Articles can be submitted in Microsoft Word or Coral
WordPerfect. Scanned articles are unacceptable because of
quality and processing issues.

a. Use Arial font size 10
b. Limit file size to 50k

Photo Submission:
a. Maximum Image Size: approximately 640x480 pixels
b. File type: JPEG, example: "dragon. jpg"
c. File size: less than 50k adjust the jpeg compression/quality
when saving the image so that is 50k or less, 35k is normal.  
Before emailing photos to the Site Manager, large photo files
must be reduced in size to prevent bogging down the networks
and email systems.

Exhibit Policy:
Exhibit pages must be scanned and saved as JPEG files.  
Please follow the submission policy for photos.

Members may also submit large amounts of content via CD.
Your CD will not be returned unless postage and CD envelope is
enclosed.  Contact the Site Manager for mailing details.

If you have no idea how to submit and email your material you
may want to consider taking your material to a commercial
copy center and they can do all for you.  You can have a few
CD’s of your material made, one to submit to our site, one for
your personal use, one for show and tell, etc.
